Carlo Salvato is a full professor of strategic management, entrepreneurship, and family business strategy at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, where he is the Director of the CLEAM undergraduate program in Management.
He obtained a PhD in business administration and management from Bocconi University and a PhD in entrepreneurship and management from Jönköping International Business School, Sweden.
His current research focus is on organizational capabilities, with an empirical focus on family firms. He is the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Family Firm Institute (FFI), and a former associate editor of the Family Business Review.
