Giovanni Amodeo is Chief Data Officer at ION Analytics.

In his capacity, Giovanni manages a large team of data analysts and data engineering across different locations.

Giovanni joined the company in 2001 and has held a number of positions including Global Editor in Chief for the Mergermarket product and Global Head of Editorial Analytics. He was also Italian Correspondent, Frankfurt Bureau Chief and Editor of Wealthmonitor.

Giovanni has a vast experience in moderating and speaking at events and hiring new talent.

Giovanni graduated in Economics from the University of Brescia. He is a Giornalista Pubblicista enrolled at the Journalist Corporation in Milan. Prior to graduating he spent four months in Commerzbank in Wiesbaden Germany.
