Oriane is a director in PwC’s “Strategy&” business, providing thought leadership and C-suite strategy advice on sustainable finance and ESG strategy for clients in financial services, corporations, SME’s and the public sector across the PwC network.

Prior joining PwC, Oriane was Co-Founder and CEO of Label R., a company, which has created an ESG and ethical due diligence & risk assessment tool for fund managers and their underlying companies. The objective was to help clients integrating material ESG issues into their investment strategies and decision-making processes and to establish an alignment with ESG principles based on recognized market standards and norms. Label R offered a strict process, which allowed fund managers to remain in sync with the global ESG and ethical requirements. As a result, Oriane collaborated with several DFI’s providing qualitative services related to the different aspects of the investment process to private equity funds whatever their size and industry.

Oriane’s experience included guiding clients through each step of the ESG Management System development process from implementation of strategy, policies and processes to performance monitoring and reporting. She worked essentially with fund managers with operations in developed as well as in emerging markets and companies largely impacted by the vagaries of their supply chain.

Prior to founding Label R, Oriane was a diplomat and senior policy advisor at the European Parliament and the United Nations. She co-founded the 8 Foundation, which developed communication campaigns to support the Millennium Development Goals (formerly SDG’s).

Oriane is also adjunct lecturer of the University of Luxembourg for their new Master in Sustainable Finance.
